Just before 3am, Monday 12th October 2020, Tasmania Police attended a property in Carbeen Street, Mornington in relation to a deceased male.
Police responded to a request for assistance at the property and located the deceased man in the car park of a unit block.
Police, including forensics and CIB remained onsite for a several hours to begin their investigations around the circumstances of the man’s death.
Later in the day, a 31-year-old Mornington man was taken into custody to assist police with their inquiries.
Full details of the incident are not yet known, however at this stage Police are treating the incident as suspicious.
