Following on from our story yesterday, Police located the man of interest in relation the alleged abduction of a young girl at the Montagu campgrounds on Sunday.
The 41-year-old man from Rosebery has been charged with Abduction of a Young Person under 17 years and Criminal Code Assault and will appear before the Burnie Magistrates Court today.
Anyone with dashcam footage of a white Mazda single cab ute with Queensland registration 317 XNR in and around the Montagu area from 4.30pm onwards on Sunday is asked to upload their footage to this link: https://taspol.au.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/or654799
