
Following our story from yesterday in relation to a Gagebrook man that was taken into custody, police have now advised he has been charged with a number of offence.
Police charged the 33-year-old Gagebrook man with multiple offences following a standoff with police in Invermay yesterday.
The man has been charged with:
- Evade Police (Aggravated Circumstances)
- Motor Vehicle Stealing
- Assault a Police Officer
- Aggravated Assault
- Resisting a Police Officer
- Drive while Disqualified
- 7 counts of Breach of Bail
He will appear before an out-of-hours session at the the Launceston Magistrates Court at 10.30am this morning.
