In a statement issued by State Roads Tasmania, Launceston will experience changes to traffic signals throughout the CBD next week from Tuesday 22nd through to Thursday 24th September between 6.30pm and 6.00am.
State Roads will be conducting works on the traffic signals at Wellington Street, Bathurst Street, Margaret Street, Charles Street and Invermay Road.
The lights will be briefly turned off for approximately 2 minutes at each intersection while the work is being conducted on the controller boxes.
Whilst the intersections will have traffic controllers in place, motorists are asked to drive with caution and follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs.
