Bureau forecasting a wet week in Launceston

Last week most of Tasmania experienced an unforgettable cold front with snow predicted to be as low as 200 m.

This week the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has predicted a week full of rain with Saturday predicted to have anywhere between 8-15 mm of rainfall.

The rainfall data on the BOM website (http://www.bom.gov.au/) for the Kings Meadows Station shows that Tasmania has already seen 128.2 mm more rainfall then what was previously seen by the end of July 2019

August has currently had over 50 mm of rain which occurred within the first week of the month.
